Space isn't something you can touch, measure or quantify. It is a term people came up with to describe the lack of something, but it doesn't have physical properties that one could manipulate. Just like time. Which makes the whole theory of "bending and warping of space time" purely theoretical.
When we constrain our understanding of physics to the theoretical work of the likes of Einstein, it is impossible to understand how certain advanced technologies we see could function, or even exist.
My brief understanding of field theory through this lens is: There is a medium that is ever present all around us, which occupies what we know as 'space'. This is the Aether, and it is best described as pure potential energy (inertia), in a state of rest. It does not have physical properties.
When Tesla said, “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.”, what he was referring to was understanding these principles and how they can be used to manipulate the Aether in order to "manifest" the different states or modalities of this medium.
When we "generate" electricity, we are manifesting it from the Aether by manipulating its state through frequency and vibration.
Remember, it was Tesla and his understanding of physics and the Aether that gave us the AC induction motor, and the people who refined and perfected it also understood these principles.
