Nostr notes are posted to relays, and only contain text. Not images or video, just text links to that content hosted on an image host server like nostr build.
Nostr clients fetch the content from the link in the note and show it to the user.
If the relay operator doesn't like your notes, they are free to remove them. But you are free to run your own relay.
If the image host doesn't like your content they are free to remove it. But you are free to host your own file server.
Calling for censorship to be baked into the client is far more dangerous because it's a lot harder to create your own client than relay or file server.
So let's be careful what we wish for.
