In our list of essential daily needs, shelter supersedes the need for air, food, and water, because without it none of the rest matter and you will still die even IF you have those daily consumable items. Shelter is also the only need that businesses share with living beings. Decentralizing manufacturing of small, appropriately sized, tooled, and resourced shelters is essential for us to remain sovereign in our personal and professional lives.
The costs for providing shelter to ourselves, our families, and our businesses has been driven up by fiat monetization of real estate. Compliance and fees increase costs of building by at least 25% and for many families these days the cost for shelter is 50% of their monthly expenses. In large part, ALL of this is because what gets built is what will be financed, inspected, and insured.
I've designed and built this appropriately small structure with off the shelf tools, largely upcycled, durable materials. Built with easily acquired skill sets that many already have, or can easily acquire. Having already acquired the tools, learned the required skills, and learned on my own dime while building this prototype proof-of-concept I'm now making it available for physical inspection in the Austin, TX area.
I will ONLY be accepting Bitcoin for payment to build these micro-dome igloos, that require no permits from centralized bureaucrats. Soon I'll be sharing the Pattern Language Design recipe in a long form Nostr note for those interested in portable, semi-permanent, or permanent handcrafted installations combining ancient and space age technologies.
This is NOT the cheapest option, as I've designed and built this for my own use as the pre-manufacturing plant to allow me to build more of these as a nomadic builder. But, I can still keep the entry level product down to $55/sq ft, while delivering a far superior product than almost anything currently available in the #tinyhome and #glamping markets. The version pictured here is a semi-permanent version, as I've assembled this on a rental property knowing that I'll have to disassemble and relocate it someday.

I found free 3d printed versions of this jig and a container for them. I printed up both for under $1. The stamp set from Harbor Freight was the most expensive part. Wouldn't bother buying that jig.

I like how TextNow.com provides a physical Sim card for a one-time fee of $5 and no ongoing costs for calls and texts. They are funded through ads and give you a new number if you go a week without a call or text. Without requiring KYC docs, they're providing ephemeral phone numbers for intermittent use and permanent ones for regular use. Both have their use cases and it's very nice to have a free and anonymous number. I hate monthly bills and can easily ignore their ads.

Excision of cancerous tissue won't remove the conditions that allowed it to form in the first place. Permanent healing requires starving it of the sugars of fiat, instead feeding the body real nutrients made from quality ingredients acquired by doing the work. The terrain theory of health teaches us that true healthcare begins by controlling all inputs, cultivating exchange of nutrients from without and waste removal from within.
Parasites, viruses, and unhealthy bacteria, as well as cancers, are all best prevented by creating an inhospitable host body. Stagnation, congestion, and overconsumption, without concern for quality or quantity of inputs create conditions that allow pathogens to thrive. While fasting, movement, sunlight, and oxygen help remove and disinfect tissues.
As with our internal economies, "garbage in and not enough garbage out leads to systemic failure". Fiat is the equivalent to highly processed white sugar, as addictive and destructive as cocaine, stimulating the pleasure centers without providing any real value.
Staying humble, living simple, stacking sats by providing real value doing useful work is how we heal our internal and external energy economies. Stagnation and congestion are the enemies, best fought off through continuous movement, of our bowels and our cultivated stack of sats. The sats must flow, so we don't get fat as life energy flows through us, directed towards life cultivating work provided to and by our peers.

These ideas apply to our Bitcoin operations as well. On chain publicly viewable internationally distributed transactions on one pole and off chain privately validated locally custodied balancing of accounts on the other. Security, decentralization, and privacy are never absolute, merely good enough. Perfection is the enemy of progress, extremes at either pole become impractical, balancing polarized sides of any coin is done by residing on the 3rd side of the coin, the edge. Riding this edge over time requires situational awareness, discipline, and focus to maintain a dynamic balance.
This is how we manage risk, in all realms, the physical where we live, contractual where we coordinate, digital where we communicate, and the virtual where we transact with our peers. Part of this balancing act is knowing who YOU are and where you are in order to know who your true peers are and what attack vectors create risk. ONLY then can confidence, not certainty, be captured, as we follow the Tao of Bitcoin.
Part of this balancing act is realizing that these polarities are fractal, scaling both up and down. For instance, eCash becomes the centralized point of interaction within the decentralized LN network, which is itself the more centralized version of Bitcoin. While, Bitcoin itself is pure potential, in the form of purchasing power, that only "realizes" that potential when turned into realized assets that support our life by spending it.
Remember, tomorrow is a fiction, we live today, but must balance today's consumption with tomorrow's productive capacity. You can't eat your satoshis, they won't keep you dry in a storm, and your self-custodied hardware running your self-hosted software requires shelter to protect in the real world.
Sovereignty over ALL our daily basic needs is the goal, over as much of our supply chain verticals as possible. Freedom is NOT having nothing left to lose. Freedom is having no-thing that can be taken from you, which requires ownership of the ideas, the knowledge required to support and cultivate our physical lives, to be manifested into form as needed. Thieves may seize my house, but they cannot steal the knowledge, skills, and satoshis I used to manifest it into form. My intellectual, experiential, and financial capital is beyond reach of those willing to use violence in an attempt to place my capital under siege.

No rational mind can ignore that genital mutilation of 80% of the US males, as circumcision is the most common surgical procedure performed every single day.
Here's what I see: culturally it is supported to defend women from sexual trauma, while baby boys are being mutilated, without consent, legal protection, or acknowledgement of the wound. How can anyone be surprised when traumatized people traumatized others.
This barbaric practice should not even be legal!
What I see are women complaining about someone violating their bodily autonomy. While young boys are having their body permanently scarred damaging their ability to bond, trust, and enjoy intimacy damaged as their introduction to the world.

Seems to me that bringing the Bitcoin and Nostr tool sets to the Permaculture and Homesteading communities will be much lower hanging fruit, as they already understand long term thinking, distributed networks create resilience, and sovereignty over supply chain verticals matter.
It's not 'your' data unless it's on your device and not 'your' device/node/relay/AI agent unless it's on your land in your building. Same as it's not your wallet if it's not in your pocket.

I fully expect that a few decades from now using paper with dead white men will be regarded the same way we currently view using sea shells or glass beads as money; an archaic, obsolete, and fragile accounting and value communication system used by the technological and economic illiterate.
ALL forms of money, even Bitcoin, are still only 'potential energy' that only becomes useful when 'realized' through use. It is the love of the money 'above all else' that is the source of all evil. The point of a journey, and the vehicle used for it, is to reach a destination, not to perpetually float as pure potential.
In sport it's said that there's no greater tragedy than wasted potential. The same applies to dying with unspent satoshis. I can't count on my offspring to deploy my sats as effectively as I will, so I plan on sliding into the grave with all my financial energy spent enjoying my life. Leaving the surplus in an irrevocable #BitcoinTrust defending my heirs from themselves.

History has shown that our most productive decade of life is in our 60s, followed by our 70s, and 50s. Productivity of real value comes mostly at the until end of our journey.
Everything through your 40s is mere preparation for when you're ability to produce value to your fellow man kicks into high gear as knowledge accrues exponentially.

Even in real life, in one of the major US metropolitan areas there are only a small handful of places to liquidate gold coins. They not only have limitations on business hours and amounts, they also charge premiums well above Spot prices IF they are even buying when you want to sell.
Typically, we want to sell when the price rises and they don't want to buy when it does. So, they simply close their OTC desk when you most want to use it. They also generally don't have proper authentication tech on hand so will only buy stamped coins they recognize and trust.
This is all inferior to true P2P markets, like cash<=>LN sats physical trades. The problem that arises when transforming a physical to a virtual phase state the physical liquidity pool and departures from it must physically be defended.

Would never pay them a single sat, but some of the side events are tempting. The travel expenses and opportunity costs are feeling hard to justify. Feels like stacking more sats will probably provide a better ROI.
Since I haven't set myself up to be a shark, there's little benefit to swimming in shark infested 'red' water full of ignorant chum. I might be mistaken for either predator or prey.

The NFC n424 chips used by Boltcard are often used as pin protected ID badges, that just need to access a directory to confirm/deny verification. Seems like having that as a directory of approved Users accessible in a private Nostr relay can allow the same functionality, to create an physical Nostr-signing device.
Am I wrong, or will something like Bitwarden on a Start9 OS be necessary for keeping that data directory available..?

We cannot break Natural Law, only ourselves (or our families/businesses/countries) upon it.
What we can do is to learn to better apply Natural Laws (like math, gravity, aero/hydro-dynamics, electri-magnetism) to our advantage.

Cattlemen Bank & Trusts have a long history of providing these services to local communities. I've been thinking that we should work with the Bitcoin Beef Initiatives to create Noste Identies for each cow, combining a GPS tracker and live tracking to enable "herd audits" to back a Cattle-mint that can be redeemed for meat or LN sats. Seems like a great form of commodity reserve based on proof of work empowering the Ranchers with a means of hedging and raising capital for reinvestment into maintaining and upgrading the ranch.
With a LN routing node and Nostr relay, these ranchers could evolve into semi-trusted localized food banks performing Uncle Jim and custodial solutions built on the "branded reputation".

This reality has brought me out of retirement back into working in residential renovations. My elders are retiring, my few peers are fully booked, and few in the generations after Gen X have been interested in acquiring trade skills.
Having a half dozen of those skill sets, and more beyond the mainstream (Permaculture, Pattern Language, & Off grid design/build/operate) allows me freedom to choose when, where, and for whom I work. It also allows me to deploy my own capital with maximum efficiency because none will do as high quality of work for me as I will for myself.

Those who write the rules always leave themselves a solution for keeping their own privacy. There are 21 exemptions to this rule, only one of them is functionally available to most of us; non-statutory Trusts, private contracts never registered with any Secretary of State.
All other businesses now not only must provide state issued ID, but also residential addressesforr every individual owning more than 15% of a business. Basically firewalling the undocumented population behind a bureaucratic barrier to business designed to keep their families in multi-generational poverty under the boot of the surveillance state.

There IS a perfect match though for private businesses and membership associations to operate Mints withoutt government or centralized rug pulls. Any organization, not serving the general public, can use eCash as an in-house accounting system. Perhaps as payroll systems that can be redeemed into LN sats on-demand by employees for saving or spending outside the 'company', using eCash within their closed system.
Private Membership Associations are another example of where semi-trusted Mint operations can manage identity, reputation, and compliance risks for Members. When joining the Club, ID has to be provided for the signature on the contract to be valid. But only to the witnesses of the contract.
Once that public/private firewall has been passed Members and the Mint are not running a MSB serving the public and therefore are NOT subjuct to the jurisdiction of the Nanny-State charged with protection of the general public. The Hosts are merely providing data storage and transmission services for the Membership.

After 30+ yrs as a War-Tax-Resistor existing solely in the cash economy I have experienced the liberation of attention freed up by not tracking, labelling, and reporting every cent earned and spent. What I didn't know couldn't be used against me, if I couldn't even track my cash flows the Nanny-State authorities couldn't either.
I've read that compliance costs add 20% to the cost of doing business. That actually seems low. There are many incalculable costs to the artificial obstructions and shrinkage to capital flows. Even the obsolete idea of 'business hours' restricts the velocity of value flow between businesses.
Just as the Gregorian method of accounting was adopted by businesses from the bottom up, despite top down desires to keep them using Roman Numerals for balancing their ledgers. The more efficient method of accounting for value exchanges will win out, eventually.

This works well as a short term highly secure solution. But '1 Is None', backing up your own memory somewhere at least once is proper operational security for the long haul. Some argue that while' 2 is 1, 3 is enough, 4 is best' when it comes to redundancies of essential systems. Usually, segregation and compartmentalization of risk is necessary too achieve resilient and effective security. These tactics apply in every realm we interact in; physical, contractual, digital, and virtual.

If they are smart, locking down control of the supply chain for daily basic needs should be a priority. Shelter, water, food, fuel, & waste management must be under control in order to truly be self-sovereign.
Sats are a means to an end, not the end in themselves. When cold, hungry, and thirsty without power or cooking fuel, no amount of satoshis will help. You'll still be dependent on trading your sats for these daily basic needs. Provide them for yourself and you can Hodl on to your heart's delight.

I just added a new link to my Nostree list My written work! 🎉. This nearly 5 year old resource has held up pretty well. Back then I saw the need for more privacy and transactability, so allowed for the alt-coins as a possible solution.
But Bitcoin has matured and ALL of them have become what I refer to as Zombie coins, dead projects walking looking for other's brains to feed on.

I offer the fiat plantation house slaves I often still work for (Bitcoiners tend to be too DIY and too frugal to pay for construction upgrades) a 10% discount of my stated rate for paper fiat at the time of service. Almost ALL of them take me up on this, IF I provide sufficient forward notice.
I also offer another 10% for payments made in LN sats, a 20% "banking inconvenience fee".
The fact is, 90% of the wealth in the world is still in the hands of ignorant, fiat-games winners now in near retirement/dementia/Alzheimer's age ranges. Many "old dogs" can't learn "new tricks", they simply don't have the mental bandwidth. Wow. It was a huge disappointment when I discovered when in PR in 2021 that Strike didn't work there.

First of all it got a rave review from CryptoCloaks who has more experience than I do with 3d printing. My limited experience on a low end entry level printer was that bed leveling, adhesion, print time, and climate control of the filament all impact the efficiency of quality prints. I like that this set up has cases for both the filament spools and the print bed to keep chemical smells contained and dut out, while reglating temperatures. I also expect this to give faster prints, done quietly, more consistently, with multi-color prints made even easier.
With the holiday shopping season on us discounts on these are becoming available too. Spending that on more filaments of different types and colors is something I intend to do.
I have seen other printers that have a laser attachment as an add on, but haven't seen one for these yet. Not being able to add that functionality is perhaps cost of better printing, for now at least.

I like the idea of having trusted hardware hosts running 3d printers, for instance PlebLab out of Austin, with sats-bounties for Plebs in the office who clear these off the printer plates & provide Proof of Print/Shipment to the designers and the Buyers.

When I build I don't just sweat, I bleed, and if I reacted to pain and/or failure by crying rather than laughing, tears would likely be a daily occurrence, too. A true Warrior, not an armchair spectator, enters the fray prepared to fail, bleed, and possibly die. Doing so because it needs done, without concern for their personal survival.
Building one off prototypes by oneself like this is hard. But coordinating the capital and the people to do so at scale is exponentially more difficult. This applies to the contractual, digital, and virtual realms, as well as the physical.

I've been working out of PlebLab in Austin, using the 3d printer there to create NFC tag holders that can be programmed for spending, receiving, and/or ID badges. We have local private poker houses using PMAs to enable gambling behind their Membership contractual wall despite the State not allowing gambling.
These protocols and contracts can be adapted for our own use to enable EVERY Member to become a LN OTC desk. KYC docs need only be provided once to the House, in this case TCT. Building all that from "scratch" isn't necessary, we simply need to fork their contracts to better serve our use cases.
I am working on creating and coordinating a League of these sort of Private Membership Bitcoiners Clubs. Open-sourcing the hardware, software, contracts, and OpSec for all to use and/or fork for themselves.

What you refer to as Truth Oracles I see as a form of Notarization Service. An interesting point regarding the law in the US at least, is that an Affidavit signed by two Witnesses testifying that we are who we say we are and that we signed a document in theory presence has the same legal standing as if it had been Witnessed by a State licensed Notary.
This seems a perhaps relevant precedent to model for the CivKit ID service. The security protocols from the Paper realm won't entirely translate to the Digital centralized and Virtual decentralized realms, but some protocols are worth considering and perhaps modifying as appropriate for each phase state of our data.

My problem is that by letting myself become fully undocumented by choice, I have effectively been barricaded behind enemy lines. Without a physical mailing address or a state issued ID I am having issues renewing my passport. Remedying this lack of "Papers" is not a simple or quick operation these days. But I AM going to take this opportunity to create paperwork strengthening my standing as a free man who is NOT a resident of the District of Columbia. Acquiring a US State National passport rather than as US Citizenship passport.

This is why I believe what's needed is to help us all learn how to establish multiple satoshi income streams every way possible. For our goods, for our services, and for our ideas, we establish "bodies" of work attached to our Nostr accounts that are continuously streaming sats into our wallets.
Only then does sending them back out again become less painful. It must also become normalized to be on zero fiat (or or close to near zero), transitioning back to slave debt-notes ONLY when necessary to interact with those still in the fiat plantataions.
It's also FAR easier to spend anything once full stack sovereignty over nearly all daily basic need has been established. None of the trade crafts are anywhere on anyone's list. My peers are aging out of this industry and there is a massive shortage of skilled residential construction trades. No one wants these careers because they require doing actual work.
Bitcoiners though appreciate the value of proof of real work done well. The satisfaction, the self reliance, and empowerment that comes from owning a useful skillet is something most of these kids will never know.
Even "Doctors" careers have been broken by fiat clown world with the debt, insurance models, and liability risks turn real healers into drug pushers.

I have been using the 3d printer at @npub1an8…z6yg as containers for NFC stickers programming them thru LN Bits to create bearable and wearable spend/receive/sign/connect key tags. Combining the ideas from www.plebtag.com with Nostr identities to form a membership ID badge/wallet/key.
Physical interfacing devices that bypass paper and fiat money systems enabling face to face cash<=>LN satoshi OTC trading with reprogrammed LN vouchers.
I need help scripting the autimation of the many operations I currently am doing manually so this tool becomes scalable. Reach out in my DMs if you have the interest and skills to help with this.

These were fun ideas to consider and talk about with my freedom loving peers.
The benefits of the connections made with my fellow bitcoiners in person can not be measured or predicted, yet it is very real and powerful. Face to face interaction builds more depth and breadth of trust in less time than online interactions ever will.
It was my pleasure to share the small part of the 7 Satoshi Seas I have personally sailed in the decade since I first heard about Bitcoin. The connections made with my peers there are already leading to some interesting and unpredictable possibilities.
Next time we'll do better at capture content for reuse later. I'm gonna try to do so again here in the Puna district of Hawaiian soon. As the poorest county in the entire US, this community needs financial literacy and sovereignty and may be thirsty enough to drink from the fountain of hope that Bitcoin is.

The 1st Pleb Hut is coming together and the 2nd set of 3d printed brackets is almost complete.
There are many ways to "skin this cat", but I believe the latex cement canvas design pattern combines perfectly with this framing. Altogether this is will be a beautiful application of the Gradual Stiffening pattern from Christopher Alexander's Pattern Language book.
