I pay my coffee in bitcoin every day. Breakfast too, most days. My favorite lunch place doesn't accept bitcoin yet, but that will probably change soon.
Nice dinner for two? Pay in bitcoin. No problem. It's so normal for me now I don't even think about it, and I rarely celebrate it. But we should. We should celebrate how far we've come.
I went to the dentist yesterday and paid in bitcoin. My favorite barber takes bitcoin too, as does my handyman and other people that help me with stuff. There's never an issue. QR code, scan, boom. Sats fly through the Lightning Network and it's done. Thank you, bye, see you tomorrow.
Granted, hyperbitcoinization isn't evenly distributed yet, but some people are already on the other side of it. And it feels very normal. Just like having access to the internet at all times feels very normal today, but it was an outrageous thing 30 years ago.
