My latest post on Bitcoin. I had this thought long ago, about four years ago, that Bitcoin could be a social movement. I mean, I studied social psychology so I saw some recurrent themes. Well, after four years, I now wrote it and added a lot to the list. Bitcoin is not a movement per se, but small micro-mobilisations that happen here and there, that just happen to use Bitcoin. People come from veeeery different backgrounds, so there are a lot of different actors and agendas at play. The post is long and your attention is short, and you’re most likely not that interested in Bitcoin. Alas, AI is more interesting (ps. me too!).
