It also tracks with accelerating biosphere destruction (although the last 150 is most of it). This is part of the Bateson paper, as well as the core allegories and myth. Some in this general domain of discussion in this thread propose we avoid written language altogether in the future:

https://weeklyhubris.com/a-letter-to-the-future/

There is another map I'd like to share along the lines of "evil men". It seems to me that many have worked related problems in good faith, not evil. Look at this map on a desktop PC. You'll see Brin, Jobs, etc., plus Margaret Mead. Click start then all. https://cybergraph.dubberly.com/

It is civilization. It is struggling with peak complexity. It is our war with nature. It is culture, ideology and paradigms around this. It is technology, going back to the written word. This comes out in Bateson with his Eden allegory. Quinn uses this in Ishmael. The root cause is all of us, not evil men.

I know that you follow him. I just think it will serve our species better to focus on something broader (and useful). We are circling down in collapse. Can we actually learn about root cause in our relative luxury at this point in the curve? This is my hope. Most of the rhetoric, even academic, is not useful.

https://dothemath.ucsd.edu/metastatic-modernity-video-series/

Is it true that the 1963 Rambler Technical Reference manual got the intake and exhaust valves wrong? Was it just my edition? Did they even have different editions? I always figure it could well have been me. I wrote this up 20 years ago, and have been meaning to ask you. I no longer have a 196 or a Rambler, nor any docs no parts. All gone in a move to my current smaller place... I did search the web...

https://orng.org/#xm4

I've lurked around WPS, later and rambler pages for over 20 years. I'm pretty crazy and erratic, never really comfortable in this world.
