Just made my own tortilla chips (totopos). A/B tested deep-fried vs. air-fried. Fried were more greasy and uneven. Air-fried were dryer but pretty uniformly cooked.

Best were basically par-fried until hard and then finished off in the air fryer.

A total of 75¢ worth of tortillas and oil made a big bag of chips. Just so, so easy.

Next up: to buy a molcajete so I can grind up my own salsas.
