This means that servers will not process any posts from mastodon.cloud.

Why? mastodon.cloud is not maintained. The server software is very outdated and contains security vulnerability. Also, there is no active moderation, resulting in abusive content and new accounts being created for spam. I read that there have been many attempts to contact the admin team but no response for a few years!

#defederate #mastodoncloud 2026-04-19T09:09:27Z
