The problem for most parents, which I dread having to deal with, Is the government forcing you to send your kid to some accredited public or private school and they control who gets that designation. I hope there are better online options in the future, but a ton of great charter schools with different curriculums get shut down by the US government all the time. Even when you home school where I live, you are forced to teach and test on their approved curriculum. I’d rather get together with likeminded parents and form a small charter school that focuses more on learning technology, world history, and languages over the traditional crap.
