I made no claims about knowing better than a shaman. I am American. There is no western equivalent of shaman in western civilization. Shamans gain their position by living through extreme tragedy, not by using psychedelics.

By that metric, many of us are shamanic. But we do not hold authority in America for serving tragedy and spreading wisdom.

My poiny merely states that the dosages and affects of psychedelic medicines is more precise and predictable than ever. People should be jumping at the chance to unlock their mind's latent abilities. The guess work of dosing isn't really a thing if you know your source. The methods of extraction are sterile and highly controlled today.

Let's discuss revolutionary theory. Or attempt to. Even if this site really is just crypto-bros and news wires, there's an important place alternative currency and social media platforms play in the coming transition.

This cartoon presents an incongruency in the ways we need to present ideas. The cartoonist is not versed in revolutionary theory or else they would know the answer to why people who have their basic needs met still need jobs.

More on that later.

It begins with understanding that what revolutionaries are calling for is not a change of power but a paradigm shift in thinking. A radical reorganization of the way we percieve ourselves. We are to become what Che Guevera called "nuevos hombres" - new men.

You do not have to be a Marxist to have the wherewithal to admit that Marxism is the only political philosophy on Earth that has sparked revolutionary thought on a global scale. From Russia, to China, Nigeria, Columbia, Cuba, Mexico, and many, many others- Marxism has mobilized peasants against the dangers of neoliberal globalization. And when their successful revolutions place democratically elected communists in power, the CIA enters the fray to blockade or destabilize their country by funding oppositionists and furnishing them with weapons.

Seekers who are looking for new perspectives do not need to be Marxists but they should be involved in a daily search for administrative and technological mechanisms to organize and stimulate the economy whilst maintaining enthusiasm for the population. You are all standing at the curtelage of revolutionary action just by using sats instead of petro-dollars.

Seekers also need to read theory.

Undermining the law of value is the final boss in this period of transition.
The law of value is central to every outspoken Marxist's critique of political economics. It refers to the relative exchange value of products measured in money and the labor required to make them.

Undermining this law of value is paramount as it has obvious positive repercussions for the human psyche and their perception of themselves within the folds of a global society.

The task of a communist government is to create circumstances which would lead to the undermining and eventual abolition of the law of value. That is why it is so strongly advocated against by those in power. Their power structure is threatened by proposition that we do not need archaic analogous systems to uphold the value of life and liberty.

And their propoganda works. People are so ingrained in the old story, the story that tells us we're only here to maximize our self-interests, that proposing to them that abolishing the State, abolishing money, and prisons, is so radical they could've never thought of it themselves. They are the crime. Their seat, their robe, their deeds, their hired guns. The existence of a State is a crime. And they've done a great job at making sure such ideas can never enter popular thought without them being demonized first.

Unlike the communists of the Soviet Union, who believe that the law of value and how it impacts people can only be undermined when there's abundance, a true socialist doctrine would work not only against the existence of poverty, but would destroy alienation altogether.

In fact, the liberation of all oppressed peoples, the elimination of material interest, individual self-interest, and private profits is the center of all anti-colonial Revolutionary thought.

The society we are tasked to build is a community where all human beings are able to grow and flourish. In such a society, no exploitative mechanisms would be at work and no one would be alienated from the group.

Exploitation and alienation is how the ruling class position themselves in power. Such a society is a dire threat and they've gone to great lengths to shape the way you think about communism to prevent it and destabilize it on the world's stage.

It's time for us all to stop acting like such little sprouts and outsourcing our critical thinking skills to other people who claim to know our duty better than we do; priests, politicians, tenured academics, who are all are agents of dogmatic extremism and pass that along to you, the consumer.

To answer the question asked in the cartoon. Why do we need jobs if the necessities of survival are provided? Because work based on the Marxist appreciation that man truly reaches his fullest human potential when he is productive without the physical necessity of selling himself as a commodity creates conditions for the greatest of freedoms.

It is a moral transformation that is aimed to be at the center of everyday practices. That is the container for revolutionary thought and why it is so incompatible with the container of thought the cartoonist presents here.

Nuevos Hombres are directed by strong feelings of love, abandon all dogmatic extremism, and are prepared to make a great deal of personal sacrifice. The antithesis of hombres that are successful in a neolibral capitalist global society.

Isn't it ironic that the idealism of freedom technology is to break the chains of non-elected big tech elites whose whims dictate how our data is used and what we are allowed to personally accomplish with the newly evolved technology landscape.

And yet you spread the gospel of allowing more government, more elites, more powerful forces to have a say in what a woman can do with her own body. This is my kitchen. I built everything myself.

What you are looking at was an empty field of rocks and sticks before I came along and devoted myself.

I took the raw materials of the Earth and created a living sculpture. Functional art.

The dirt walls, clay plaster, mesquite shelves, rock accents, yucca stalk decorations, copper plates, and cottonwood corner posts all collected from on-site resources.

It is my orientation that affords me these opportunities. And you can know it too. Right now, in this very lifetime.

I like to use the term "old story." The story of separation. The old story says that you are a separate individual. A soul encased in flesh in a world of others.
In that story, your purpose here is to make a place in the word. To survive, maximize your self-interest, and contend with all the other separate selves out there trying to do the same. To insulate yourself from hostile natural force whilst taking what you need and what you want from the world. Cuz.. why not?

The new story is to realize that your purpose here is not actually to maximize your wealth and security and self-interests. Your purpose here, the reason we are on Earth and in this cosmos, is because you carry gifts that you yearn to express to the world.

Just like every species. There is no species on Earth that only takes from and degradese the ecosystem. Every species actually contributes to the aliveness of the collective. They contribute to the unfolding of life and beauty.

We're the same.

It doesn't look like that right now. That we are a gift to life and beauty. It doesn't. But that is what a mature species becomes. So the transition we are in right now is the maturation of our collective consciousness.

This is true on an individual level as well. Which is why you can mine a million Bitcoin$... but if you're not using that to make the world more alive and more beautiful you're gunna feel... "I wasn't put on Earth for this... When am I going to get to live MY life.. not the one I've been bribed to live."

So this is the orientation I am talking about. The orientation of understanding yourself as gift. So in every situation you get to ask yourself, "what is mine to do? What is my Task? What is mine to give?" And that doesn't mean self-sacrifice because it includes a recognition of the generosity of all the world and all the world's species. To receive fully all the gifts that allow me to give forward and leave things more beautiful than they were when I found them.
It is understanding myself as an agent of the continuing coming aliveness of the world.

Just take a look at natural history. It is just a history of the world coming more and more alive. 4 Billion years ago, nothing. Then bacteria. They become more complex, multi-cellular. Then things begin to colonize the land, create soils, and plants, and flowers leading to insects and they made it even more alive and more beautiful. Then we came along.... Same reason. We're the same. So long as we're tapped into that, into that story about what is humanity for.. then you will know your ultimate purpose.

The old story says we're here to transcend nature. We're here to conquer. But that's not actually why we're here. The more that we're tapped into "what can we contribute to the aliveness of the cosmos" then life has meaning. Then you know why you're here. You know how to orient yourself and navigate life. You're tapped into the maturation of our species.

I think the real takeaway from AI art should be its affect on how we love each other.

What once took deep emotional attunement is now achievable through internet clawing AI. Our standards must shift with these new material conditions. Stagnation spells doom.

During the Russian Civil War, Alexandra Kollanti observed the lack of emotional depth and commitment revolutionaries gave their romantic partners. It wasnt because Russians all had an avoidant attachment style. It was because the material conditions of the revolution deflected energy away from feelings that normally accompanied love. Being unable to sleep or feeling pangs of doubt as one yearns for their lover is a loss of energy the revolution could not afford.

However, once the war ended and the Soviet Union was established, Soviet situationships fell out of favor. People wanted something deeper. Something longer lasting now that the material conditions allowed for it.

If we look at our current material conditions it makes sense that in this epoch, love and understanding are experienced as one. Conditions like the tremendous abundance of products & services and the economic logic that intermediates our relationships has devalued our material instantiations of love.

You dont need to make your lover a mixtape when every song is available to stream at the click of a button. Buying movie or concert tickets as a gift has lost value since you can stream it from the living room. These are still obviously acts of love but the social value of these acts has diminished. There's always a convenient alternative and its important love is removed from convenience.

There's no need to rely on these material confirmations anymore. In fact, many Americans think it is virtuous to be materially self sufficient. Techno-capitalism nutures isolated individuals, making other people obsolete in the grand design of what we used to think compliments a full life.

Under this system, the only thing that is safe from planned obsolescence is our immaterial recognition of each other. How I understand you can never be bought or possessed or reproduced.

This means now more than ever what our community or lovers do is not as important as how they respond to you specifically. The standard for what it means to be understood has increased. The digital age makes it materially possible to know more about others than ever before. You can know someone you've never met simply by stalking their social media; their likes, places they've been, the things they follow.

In the past, making the perfect mixtape for a partner required you to be present with them and attentive to what they say and how they behave. It required complex inferences you'd have to make about their general disposition. Now if you want to make a mixtape for a lover, you dont have to pay attention to them at all. You can lookup their Spotify Playlist or checkout their music highlights on Insta.
An act once requiring deep emotional attunement can now be achieved with mere data collection. Now that data is freely given; our deep thoughts go online, photos of our favorite things, our search histories sold to brokers. Corporations literally know if you are pregnant or have cancer before your doctor or family does. ChatGPT can give relationship advice tailored to your exact situation.

This is one of the reasons I like Nostr so much. My real name is tied nowhere to this account.

Still... it doesn't mean much to know things about others anymore. Knowing lots of facts might've constituted understanding a few decades ago. But now it is not sufficient. Otherwise, AI chat bots would seem to "understand" and "love" us. The standard for love must rise above ordinary factoids. Thus, to be loved is to be understood deeply and intuitively.

For example, I am not always the most honest person. It stems from mommy trauma and an insecurity in simply being myself or being honest about my feelings.
When I am dishonest, an acquaintance might take the lie at face value and make sweeping generalizations about my character. But someone who loves me will want to interpret my behavior charitably. Generosity makes the lover's understanding more accurate.

I built my off-grid house entirely from on-site soil and with my own two hands. The walls are 50cm thick. The dome even goes underground. Then I stocked it with years worth of provisions, firearms and ammo, thousands of varieties of seeds, rare medicines and first aid, I then hardened the off-grid systems against cataclysm, and have contributed countless hours to strengthening the resiliency of the surrounding community.

Look at what we've done...

Out of the estimated 113 Billion humans who have ever existed, the majority of them lived both briefly and a very long time ago. So it's historically rare to live throughout the changes of the world as it is rebuilt around us. Nostr, crypto, the fall of the petro-dollar.

Humans today will experience on average 50 years more than the majority of humans who have ever lived. Today the average infant will grow to adulthood and the average adult will live into their 70s.

The majority of all humans could never read or write, they had no choice in where they lived or where they could go or what they could do. Mostly just farmers born to tend the lands they we bred on.

Most humans who have ever existed did not know what it was like to be 30, let alone 80

It has never been normal to witness the world as it is rebuilt and changed around you. But we do now.

I ask again, just look at what we have done....

For better or for worse, there's no denying the capabilities of our kind. Every 30-something year old like me flying on a plane to their grandmother's funeral, watching a movie or reading a book, casually aware of gravity, how the weather works, and what the Sun is made from, and even the names and histories of the places below them, all while being able to consider why they might go somewhere at all. In their pocket a credit card, a smart phone, and medicine capable of treating almost any ailment... all this is such a normal thing to us now but it truly is a living and breathing example that miracles are real. And they are created by the godlike force of the hands and minds of people like us.

Humanity has forged this reality for itself. We so easily critique and squander what we have for there is admittedly a lot to critique and squander.

But considering at least once in a while how crazy it is that we exist as self aware humans and we exist on the side of history where we are expected to see 30, 40, 50, maybe even 80 or more. The side of history where we can tell time to the second, wipe with soft paper, see clearly with glasses, play cards with friends, mass distribute books, listen to a master pianist on demand, turn on and off lights and heaters, drink soda, drive cars on a whim, launch rockets, press buttons, understand the contents of outer and inner space, and share ideas like these instantaneously on a global scale.

We created all these things, all these opportunities, out from the material of the Earth and our minds. Out from nothing.

We woke into the conditions of this Reality and said, "not good enough. How about this instead?"

We bear the fruits of both our bounty and our destruction. Destruction of the world, our spirits, and ourselves. But our next great innovation is on its way.
