It will wreck multi-nationals favoring owner/family managed business, destroy the connection between state and money, and remove money from any government that doesnt act in a civil way. (So just a word of caution if your long term model is building a business that supports any of these 3 in the block you may find what you have built becomes obsolete) I would focus on owner/family managed business. <br/><br/>Bitcoin brings back options to launch family business that can actually compete, money then made from that can actually build on itself, more family strength, more health, more certainty of ownership, a deeper sense of responsibility for oneself and family. Bad sadly i have to admit unless this process happens slowly it may in fact be very nasty for the poor ao we need to spend as much time as we can educating in that area. <br/><br/>Just today I spoke to Devan a gentleman running a shop in our town, he is in his 30’s, two little girls and a wife, great guy, good business he works for - they can’t pay him enough for what he needs. He is struggling but so is the business he is working for. Bitcoin helps that business be able to eventually pay him a wage for his time that is sufficient for his needs - FIAT doesnt. Poverty is complex and formed by the whole system. Bitcoin as a solution is not just bitcoin ib the hands of the poor - it’s bitcoin in the hands of productive people - owner managed business. He wants to go to America to get opportunities on the farms! A Dad leaving his girls just so he can feed them, put them through school and send them off into the same system. <br/><br/>My point is: bitcoin over Fiat is very useful for people in poverty situations for all the daily benefits:, bank fees, speed of transactions, options etc The “Invest” function may help some but Im not here to have more Rands and they shouldn’t be either. Bitcoin solves the more deep systematic problems with the structure of society that leads to poverty. Unfortunately I don’t know if we see this in our lifetime. But Bitcoin has always had a way of surprising me. </blockquote> 2026-06-05T17:34:30Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqszfv3sp3n2vtd62nylq8kz3qxtrzcd7r8x0fssjz8739exaea8k4szypzlg4p976np6sjulpnpf77gf723sg0d99s4r634hw7a8yk9uy9ww5t03vv Glad to see some of our stickers there too! 🧡 <br/><blockquote class="border-l-05rem border-l-strongpink border-solid"><div class="-ml-4 bg-gradient-to-r from-gray-100 dark:from-zinc-800 to-transparent mr-0 mt-0 mb-4 pl-4 pr-2 py-2">quoting <br/><span itemprop="mentions" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Article"><a itemprop="url" href="/nevent1qqspnpwljmxtyy4cvf35qq4epwnged5gmullhz290zy4pcem0xswy7qzyqv4p6wttk78unyu4vj528pzp68cjd77nd8p8u2aaw3hhp2u7yp2uqcyqqqqqqgce3fst" class="bg-lavender dark:prose:text-neutral-50 dark:text-neutral-50 dark:bg-garnet px-1">nevent1q…3fst</a></span> </div> <span itemprop="mentions" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Person"><a itemprop="url" href="/nprofile1qqs9n7lwwd5a7acnmwl6nw7mpzfvvt46j2fryc2udle8sldrsn9hwrcpp4mhxue69uhkyunz9e5k7tcpzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz76aksf4" class="bg-lavender dark:prose:text-neutral-50 dark:text-neutral-50 dark:bg-garnet px-1"><span>BitcoinMagazine</span> (<span class="italic">nprofile…ksf4</span>)</a></span> <span itemprop="mentions" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Person"><a itemprop="url" href="/nprofile1qqs254dy0xkkjdxsl4u08k7cs52u689q67s3pqfwwyfcp4va7avcjdgpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqzxrhwden5te0d35kw6r5de5kuemjv4kxz7fwvdhk6xgwwgl" class="bg-lavender dark:prose:text-neutral-50 dark:text-neutral-50 dark:bg-garnet px-1"><span>BitcoinJungle</span> (<span class="italic">nprofile…wwgl</span>)</a></span><br/><span itemprop="mentions" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Person"><a itemprop="url" href="/nprofile1qqsptpha27kgrdnpw7cqs7ascrayvheshxy4jjwgjd5rdmz7dngnzvspydmhxue69uhkzmrfv4hx7uewd35kyun9w3jkx6rn09ehgetdwvh8s7t69uqs6amnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dszpdjkx" class="bg-lavender dark:prose:text-neutral-50 dark:text-neutral-50 dark:bg-garnet px-1"><span>bitcoinekasi</span> (<span class="italic">nprofile…djkx</span>)</a></span> <span itemprop="mentions" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Person"><a itemprop="url" href="/nprofile1qqsqqp867lqdnykz4yy7papjgn6x3gzqtthzzp0gchzxlrh62jflhlspzemhxue69uhkyarr9e4kcetwv3sh5afwvdhk6qgdwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkc9nd54a" class="bg-lavender dark:prose:text-neutral-50 dark:text-neutral-50 dark:bg-garnet px-1"><span>Bitcoin Dombo</span> (<span class="italic">nprofile…d54a</span>)</a></span> @bitconfamba <br/><br/><br/><br/><video controls width="100%" class="max-h-[90vh] bg-neutral-300 dark:bg-zinc-700"><source src="https://blossom.primal.net/5a9ab1a4762efc92c222c9128a4ba13321e9b97496122e85b346fbade7cf5537.mp4"></video> </blockquote> 2026-05-24T13:45:22Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqs282lxzded4lrsjyn67uk0ct0jr34ux3xntm6wu6a6dv7m7g6ydagzypzlg4p976np6sjulpnpf77gf723sg0d99s4r634hw7a8yk9uy9wwjzvslh Plett has done far better than anticipated! However, it&#39;s hard to blame those too poor to have the luxury of a low time preference for needing the stability of stable coins.<br/><br/>Yes, Bitcoin is the answer, but USDT on Liquid (<span itemprop="mentions" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Person"><a itemprop="url" href="/nprofile1qqswe03hyye2jv3msylwkj8cml8d4m9qpc5g0tccrvrrcm86z0kcagg0zjv3w" class="bg-lavender dark:prose:text-neutral-50 dark:text-neutral-50 dark:bg-garnet px-1"><span>AQUA Wallet</span> (<span class="italic">nprofile…jv3w</span>)</a></span>) or Stablesats (<span itemprop="mentions" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Person"><a itemprop="url" href="/nprofile1qqsglefmxagcu0d7nw4jdkgj9ysqrk9cst0fg44hkz9kzhu39hyt7jsh9lfqf" class="bg-lavender dark:prose:text-neutral-50 dark:text-neutral-50 dark:bg-garnet px-1"><span>Blink Wallet</span> (<span class="italic">nprofile…lfqf</span>)</a></span>) can help get more people there. <br/><blockquote class="border-l-05rem border-l-strongpink border-solid"><div class="-ml-4 bg-gradient-to-r from-gray-100 dark:from-zinc-800 to-transparent mr-0 mt-0 mb-4 pl-4 pr-2 py-2">quoting <br/><span itemprop="mentions" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Article"><a itemprop="url" href="/nevent1qqs2q97phy36asu5ayfd7mct3erl7x4ep5djehmlvuzpw6dkm0cp84czypx5rf7texml06zgf525nx4fzsw887drnsmktnza2ccl58naxceucqcyqqqqqqggyc9sq" class="bg-lavender dark:prose:text-neutral-50 dark:text-neutral-50 dark:bg-garnet px-1">nevent1q…c9sq</a></span> </div> The truth is that Latin America understands inflation, you don’t have to explain to them why their currency sucks. <br/><br/>They also understand capital controls because they always come after inflation. Higher costs, tools to avoid capital controls, etc. You are treated like a criminal just to use your money. <br/><br/>But they think that USDT is the solution. And you can see this by the rates of adoption and volumes going parabolic.<br/><br/>Specially in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Bolivia. <br/><br/>The problem is that this is not an ultimate solution, stablecoins are not stable, the US dollar is collapsing, this has been the worst year of the dollar since the 1970s.<br/><br/>Stable coins neither are a solution to capital controls, you still depend on a third party to let you transact with their permission. <br/><br/>As the collaboration between governments and stable coins issuers advances capital controls become a bigger threat.<br/><br/>So, we (-BITCOINERS-) need to be louder in our information and education campaigns. We need <br/>to educate not on what money is and why BITCOIN is money. But why Bitcoin is THE BEST AND ONLY TOOL to protect the fruits of your labour from all the parasitic banks, governments and corporations.<br/><br/>BITCOIN OR SLAVERY.<br/><br/><br/><br/> </blockquote> 2025-08-22T19:41:58Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqstyxwqf927pru7ct9dw337txxgelv7anc45fmwthdncrrh8d7hqwqzypzlg4p976np6sjulpnpf77gf723sg0d99s4r634hw7a8yk9uy9wwahv9dl Coffee in Plettenberg Bay for #sats!
