I just want to gush about [@vampiress](https://eigenmagic.net/@vampiress ) 's Dungeons of Freeport for a second.

It's a roguelike where each (actual) day you can delve into the dungeons below Freeport and find treasure. Once you successfully return (or don't), you can wander around town, sell stuff, replenish supplies, craft and do all that good stuff. But then that's it! You have to wait until tomorrow to try again!

I find it makes for really interesting gameplay because a death doesn't just end your run, it ends your session for the day too.

In the market for a new soldering iron. What are people's longer term experiences with the #pinecil ? I see they have a v2 model now. I mainly use it for pretty light duty perfboard type projects but i like the idea of something more lightweight and portable. Alternatively what else would you recommend?

So I've got this image in my head of an RTS. I have no idea what how the game plays, but like I want to make the vision in my head come out. So far it's 100% my scrawlings in GIMP and mouth noises in Audacity. :D
