Rode the shuttle from the hotel to the con this morn, seated between a drummer for the Ramones and two chatty, amicable women who are retired pro wrestlers. Sometimes you find yourself living in a Jaime Hernandez comic.

I've had the pleasure of watching Edie, a local cartoonist, develop their comic "Summer Grass, Winter Worm" for a few months. It's terrific. Edie's work is so well crafted- light & fun, but substantial too. Go read chapter 1 at https://grassworm.net & you can see their work grow with every page. Can't wait to read chapter 2!
