Well, she's a character I created, so I'm gonna say she'd understand... eventually.

Fitting, I suppose, that you can turn to Google to find not only what book I'm referencing, but an AI synopsis as well. I think I need a nice, long hike in the wilderness....

#rights #freedom #electronic #tech #technology #dystopia #yourebeingwatched 2025-11-06T23:16:32Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqsx36jza6eftehumr3mwecss9vz4h40ry5prcqhz0ytfcgh3xukttczyzgcd5xazff4ptfj40qkgxsnjeekeyvjg3s8s4sxtjxy6av78q8pknpw57r Do you like reading fantasy and/or science fiction? Do good for your planet, your body, and your mind - or at least consumer practices. Although fairly limited by modern standards and limited to the DOS environment, it had many of the basic technical features of modern e-books, like a clickable TOC with links to jump to the content. Since I was just experimenting, the content was fairly limited too, basically just an electronic chapbook with some poems I'd written previously. 2025-11-02T23:14:47Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqs0lqr6yx707hykprjr4wmaz80xmn3sxqyaymm53h56hc77xarencczyzgcd5xazff4ptfj40qkgxsnjeekeyvjg3s8s4sxtjxy6av78q8pkjkphdn Yesterday, for #FediBookFair, I posted to highlight some of my #books. Today, I won't try to "sell" you on anything, not even downloading a free book. I'll just share a little about myself as a #writer - specifically, one unusual fact:

I self-published my first e-book before there was a Kindle - and before Bezos started Amazon.

It's true. The first Kindle? 2007. Amazon? 1994. My first e-book release? Around 1991 (exact date unknown). Long live the dial-up #BBS community! :) 2025-11-02T16:54:00Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqs05tgnx8667gqfqqsff74c05awss3ma2g3zh8pvfjf63jw032ntnczyzgcd5xazff4ptfj40qkgxsnjeekeyvjg3s8s4sxtjxy6av78q8pk3glu6t Some of my books are in #KindleUnlimited which means the ebooks are only available via Amazon. (Sadly, this earns much more than having books on other sites - a rant for another day, not #FediBookFair 2025.)

I have #fantasy #books in KU, so if you have a subscription, why not try The Ambitions of Kreltahk (Book 1 in the Chronicles of Madarre)? This novel is available as a paperback, too. After #reading, please post a review!

#affiliatelink #ad #obviouslyiearnfromsales

https://www.amazon.com/dp/0997778024/?tag=sjwonmastodon-20 2025-11-01T21:45:02Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqsqs5zwmg6ph6fcnhf2nq0gynzcl657kj87jklkckgrqkwktwzhleqzyzgcd5xazff4ptfj40qkgxsnjeekeyvjg3s8s4sxtjxy6av78q8pkc0h0gf Maybe it's "controversial" but I think the #scifi #novella I'm sharing for #FediBookFair is well worth reading. But "KINRU" hasn't received much love from readers. Too unusual? Or I like it too much to see the flaws?

Why not grab a #free copy and let me know what you think after #reading it? It's bundled in with a few other stories in "Distant Worlds: A Science Fiction & Fantasy Sampler" which is a free gift for newsletter subscribers. (Unsubscribe whenever you want!)

https://BookHip.com/DHCWBRQ 2025-11-01T19:24:00Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqst80x9hdssds0ztu6t0d3sxkwk764hksvg26ejwfx6krl5rm3dw8gzyzgcd5xazff4ptfj40qkgxsnjeekeyvjg3s8s4sxtjxy6av78q8pk92vr63 The Secret of Eln-Ketaar is the next #book I'll highlight for this year's #FediBookFair. It is a standalone #fantasy #novella that was inspired by a true story (alas, one that ended more sadly than this novella).

I have pledged to donate at least 50% of my earnings from this book to cerebral palsy research and patient care. You can buy it from a variety of online stores big and small. It's also available in print.

https://stuartjwhitmore.gumroad.com/l/secret-el-ketaar 2025-11-01T17:30:10Z
