I’ve been a writer for years, and software development feels more and more like writing to me every passing week. The awkward part of the comparison is, in general, people do not want to pay writers any money at all. As a writer, you get used to it. But for software people, being perpetually devalued is pretty novel."

🫩

Does he know that we think writers should be paid well too? 2026-10-23T16:53:15Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqs0exr2stps5xxw7mtn7lk2g5wh4lh23xt59975hy753rve5fexe7gzyzgsahvnmsrkfpaq7zh9dynyfg3mvrne4a8twxah5lvkznpc7yd5csuxjhq RE: https://unfug.social/@4censord/117011602633821727

seems like a fine day to boost this post

quoting
note13fn…24pg

99.5% availability is fine, this isnt github, it doesnt always have to be 80%
2026-08-17T17:20:11Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqszdpzpzp0967qvqapl32ncfcdr4n9dc8tanls6uj7rzcvgy20mflczyzgsahvnmsrkfpaq7zh9dynyfg3mvrne4a8twxah5lvkznpc7yd5c64rhu2 In reply to nevent1q…n3us
_________________________

Love this! If you set the fill or stroke properties to currentColor using CSS, your SVG will be the color of the text around it.

This is great for auto-changing light and dark modes because it means you don’t need multiple images – the SVG will just change color appropriately.

Click on the permalink for this note for a demo :D

Permalink: https://www.ragman.net/notes/24
#coding, #webdev 2025-04-23T14:33:54Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqs9sglfvjqs2uerjjw84txh3sgs5qunprh7u4ecqzwpp0lef52sumczyzgsahvnmsrkfpaq7zh9dynyfg3mvrne4a8twxah5lvkznpc7yd5cvfzhau In reply to nevent1q…n02h
_________________________

What is this from? 2024-09-20T18:05:02Z
