I'll give it a try on the next install I do!

In case anyone was wondering, #rns and #nomadnet install and run just fine on Mac OS (Sequoia, in my case - yes, I'm slow to update 😉 ).

I installed pipx first via Homebrew.

If you're not used to how USB devices appear on Mac and you don't want to manually edit the #reticulum config, you can plug in your #LoRa board and create an interface via NomadNet > Interfaces > Add [ctrl+a] > RNodes

There's a convenient dropdown menu listing relevant USB devices.

      I set up a #Reticulum #RNode with a spare #RaspberryPi + #Heltec V4 today.

I spent a lot of time scratching my head as to why the Pi couldn't see the Heltec, despite it being flashed okay and powered up and running via USB (the Heltec was flashed on a Mac)

It turns out the USB cable is very important! I tried three different USB A - C cables before I found one that worked.

Hopefully I can save other #Reticulum early adopters a few minutes of confusion!

I've been keeping my eye on the #Reticulum and #LoRa hashtags for the last few months, and this evening I got #NomadNet up and running via #NomadNavigator.

Browsing through Announces as they come in and these light and creative Micron profile pages are taking me right back to the mid-90s! 😀
