Very suddenly realized things were not going to work the way I thought. Wound up putting Windows back on and installed Linux in virtual machine. I challenged myself to do everything in the VM and if I hit some blocker that I didn&#39;t have to time to figure out or learn, then I&#39;d do it in Windows. Did this for about 6 months and then went back to bare metal. <br/><br/>Essentially, my plan was to give myself permission to take it slow and ignore anyone who said &#34;it just works&#34;.
