LARBS was almost the exact same thing as Omarchy, with x11/DWM instead of Wayland/Hyprland and bundled with academic tools rather than corporate ones, but the impetus and draw was what you&#39;ve mentioned - it was recherche enough to be interesting and a challenge, and actually did lower the activation energy for most daily tasks. I&#39;m still addicted to TUIs, tilers, and Vim keybinds everywhere because of it.
