I predict the spam/suitcoiners will just call it Blakecoin or Bblake to follow the Bcash pattern and give it the ticker BLK or BBK. Just my adversarial thinking 2 cents.

The mere threat of it was one of the factors that I believe resolved the Blocksize War.

Now it feels like there's 1000x times more of people's life savings at risk. So I believe there needs to be a much more creative and elegant solution than a simple PoW change.

If a hard fork is truly unavoidable, let's at least take the opportunity to consider all of the items on the Hard Fork Wishlist so we never have to do it again and ossify to Bitcoin V1.0.

300Kb blocks, privacy by default, UTXOs ownership for all, quantum resistance, remove all the existing non-monetary spam. To overcome the incumbent network effect you need to be 10x better.

I even think to survive we will probably need to freeze or redistribute Blackrock's and other highly captured actors' coins. Otherwise they will permanently own our coin as well, via a Sword of Damocles of being able to dump massive amounts and manipulate the price at any time.

If that is too unpalatable then it's time for us all to start CPU mining block 1 of Bitcoin2.

RUG THE SPAMMERS, FIRE THE MINERS, DETHRONE THE SUITS.
