It’s obviously impossible for the system to account for apps dynamically changing their colors. It is similarly broken for automatic dark/light mode switching, because libadwaita never reloads the overridden colors.<br/><br/>Given accent colors were already a really hard sell to some people, I expect this to go nowhere, but I would really like to see an open-minded discussion about further aspects of recoloring (not theming) in good faith.<br/><br/>I don’t think re-coloring has nearly the same class of problems outlined by <a href="https://stopthemingmy.app">https://stopthemingmy.app</a> and similar blog posts.
