There a couple of fundamental dynamics in government.

Governments have no money until the people create wealth and hand over a proportion of the value of that economic activity in the form of tax.

Governments don't innovate, they at best fund innovation. Think internet.

A government that stifles innovation and enterprise is not only an enemy of the people it serves, depriving them of opportunity in their one shot at life on this increíble planet, but that same government is also starving itself of tax revenue and opportunity to keep the flywheel going.

When incentives are so poorly aligned, something has to give before a whole nation shrivels and dies.

Yes, EU, that would be referring to you. You are using the tax system to drive the people to work for the "man" ( the least innovative but easiest to control centres of economic activity) and driving the wealth creators away from setting up innovative, small, local-oriented businesses, the backbone of a free society.

The EU-wide grant system alone exposes this bias, favouring funding of businesses that already have capital, and by definition, have already lost much if not all of their innovative edge.

Either EU politicians are evil and ideologically driven, or you are dumb as planks. We know you aren't dumb. Therefore you are entities that are deliberately stifling the people.

It is hard to believe that every public servant is, by nature, the enemy of the people. But it is increasingly easy to see that public servants do enact exactly what "the man" sector says. The EU stance against companies like Google or VW was and continues to be pure theatre. The universal mentality of school leavers programmed to " look for a job" not "look to create a job".

History shows that you cannot posibly stifle the commons for long. Every time evil makes a play, good has risen. Maybe not straightaway, and not before the corrupt state has made a few extra bucks and made millions of lives unnecessarily miserable, but those walls do come down, pulled down brick by brick.

As you are part of the "people" too, there is no logical reason for not giving up on the restrictive policies and joining in on reaping the rewards of expansive ground-up enterprise.

You aren't thick, be wise, and bring an end to this trend to restrict the people you serve. Everybody can win, you included. Or continue on your restrictive path as the architects of failure, yours included.

This is " Bitcoin 101". So simple. This way of thinking is problematic because the number is denominated in fiat. If Bitcoin's fundamental proposition is that fiat money is structurally unsound, then treating the number of fiat units required to purchase one Bitcoin as the ultimate measure of Bitcoin's success is a profound conceptual error.

Can the technical bitcoiners comment on this...

The Bitcoin White Paper is the reference point for what Bitcoin is.

The Bitcoin Blake knots software for Windows, Mac and Linux computers written by Luke Dashjr is the hardware and software combination needed to safely and securely run a bitcoin node and a wallet.

That's It.

That is the pure and simple strategy for anybody wishing to safely participate in and support the Blake2B Bitcoin protocol.

Any twists on the Satoshi theme pushed by Twitter talking heads, any other suggestions for node hardware, any other proposals for hardware wallets....

It's a red flag.

It doesnt mean dishonesty by default, it can be naivety, It can be the manifestation of years of subtle corrupting influences burying the simplest of strategies.

Whatever the cause, deviating from points one and two is undermining the value of Bitcoin and injecting 3rd party Risk into the simplicity of self sovereign Bitcoin.

If you can't read a White paper and get AI to explain the technicalities, you are unlikely to get better starter info from some guy on the internet.

If you are steered towards plug n play hardware solutions from 3rd parties, ask why It is more convenient than downloading a piece of software, following instructions to verify it, and installing a handful of Gbs on your home computer?

Like every great invention Bitcoin has no business model - from aircon ( a sheet a bucket of water and a draught) to batteries running for 100 years on salt and iron, anything that can improve the quality of Life of everyday people has been bought out and buried by third parties and sold back to the commons at great expense with inbuilt dependency.

Keep It simple, or open yourself Up to smoke and mirrors middlemen undermining your self sovereignty. And we Will have to hard fork again till we understand the simplicity of genius starting use right in the face.

Does this make sense?

Until the xbt community is extensive enough to support local circular economies, they are going to need access to fiat. How they navigate this is crucial to separating money from state.

It seems so obvious now that BTC was bound to be captured because it was directly traded for fiat, thought about in fiat NGU terms while it propagated, and was absorbed into the fiat financial system. It was in a bare-knuckle fight with fiat, no shock absorbers. The state got in the middle of BTC. The hard fork facility was in place for this inevitability.

This hard fork is different, and xbt can become the real Bitcoin because it has a buffer against fiat that sha256 bitcoin never had – namely stock-ticker BTC, the most liquid asset on the planet if you need to get hold of fiat 24/7.

Everyone with BTC has inherited xbt. I suggest the only pairings xbt believers should ever think about are xbt to btc or xbt to other crypto – a pairing that is liquid and bridges to the fiat world.

An xbt/usdc pairing, or xbt/$ pairing, is for those buying xbt to grow their xbt stack, no-coiners wanting to enter the xbt community, or BTC holders selling their inherited xbt.

But if you truly believe in XBT, never sell it direct for fiat or it will get captured again. Convert mining profits for liquidity, sell for BTC, then sell that on.

It's a simple dynamic: fiat makes a fiat market for XBT, and xbt holders just get on with their money separated from state. Leave it to the fiat and BTC worlds to work out the dollar value of this money compared to what they already hold – you already worked it out! And this approach gives BTC holders a way to migrate over while the capture net tightens.

The Bitcoin Blake2B Hard Fork: 99.99% Didn't See It Coming. 100% of Us Were Covered.

Satoshi's genius comes in many forms. He arrived anonymously and remained untraceable, which is all but unthinkable in a digital world. He assembled a unique combination of existing and proven software, and added his own novel solutions to close the loopholes in double-spending.

But unlike most builders, he also knew how to market. He provided incentives for adoption of the perfect product based on greed. In other words he knew how humans work as well as how 0's and 1's function.

The real genius is how he propagated BTC when nobody was looking. It has been well documented how he mined 1 million and has sat on them. But 5% of the float could only do so much. He made sure 10 million BTC, half the float, were mined on laptops by the plebs before the first halving, embedding sleeper cells as it were, globally while the state slept – or more likely, waited to swoop, thinking they had this breakaway covered.

For me the real genius behind Satoshi's white paper is now being revealed with the Blake2B hard fork. And yes — this fork is happening now. The hash algorithm has changed, the commercial miners are gone, and the chain is back in the hands of the dispersed few.

Satoshi knew the state would not allow BTC to operate outside their system. At some point, they would intervene and co-opt the fruits of the greed that had mined millions of BTC. He knew BTC would be captured, and the mindset of a sizeable percentage of newcomer holders — the ICO, then FTX, then ETF wave — would infect the protocol with fiat mindsets and spread despair amongst the OGs and true believers in the Satoshi mission.

Not that he foresaw the specific attack vectors. But he knew enough about builders — he was one, and he called his own early intervention a mistake — to know that protection always becomes capture, that others would err as he did, and that eventually a hard fork would come good and keep the project alive. He built hard-fork capability into the protocol, making decapture permanently available. He had them all covered — the naive NGU brigade, the frustrated and disgruntled OGs.

Every commercial miner has been a useful idiot — but not useful in a cruel, exploitative way. Every person lulled into NGU while doing nothing to strengthen the BTC network has also obliged the mission to propagate the myth of bitcoin. Arguably even the cypherpunks who have only ever acted in good faith have been treated like useful idiots. Everyone raising a stink, defending the protocol, talking it up as the greatest asymmetric bet of all time, we have all been raising the profile of bitcoin as a contrarian solution to fiat money.

The greedy fuelled the birth and growth. It was doing the right thing the wrong way for a purist idealist — but it got bitcoin to where it needed to be. And the kind twist is this: the useful idiots are not being rug-pulled. 99.99% of us did not see this coming, the miners spent their funds on electricity to birth bitcoin. Now all BTC holders are being gifted a matching float of the real bitcoin.

Real Bitcoin should not be viewed as a contentious term. The hard fork option was passive genius. By nature they are contentious, divisive, challenging to those who have committed fully to the bitcoin of the day, now confronted with the realisation that they had it wrong and the hard fork has it right.

Not even Satoshi got it right the first time he intervened at the protocol level, seeing his own intervention as a mistake. After the Blockchain Wars, BCH and BSV hard-forked, casting doubt in the OG believers' thesis that BTC was the only true money. But they too got it wrong, hard-forking along the same path with a few cosmetic tweaks.
Now, this hard fork is different. And this is the genius of Satoshi the marketer and strategist coming to the fore.

Satoshi must have known the general truth: BTC would never be allowed to work by the state. It was literally a bare knuckle fight, no protection for either side. And the state was the 800lb Goliath against a nimble David. History is showing how violent and insidious the state can be, how long a game they can play to get the outcome they want to maintain the status quo. But they have now been check-mated — theoretically, for now. Right now the fork looks vulnerable, young hash under dispersed CPU/GPU protection, and the cost of attacking a community-run chain is Goliath's problem, not ours. If we get through this window, the theory hardens into natural law.
And to repeat, the beauty of this hard fork is that the useful idiots, far from being rug-pulled, have been rewarded with a matching amount of what is now the real bitcoin.

Capital flows to the hardest money. BTC is now the buffer between the real bitcoin, let's call it Blake2B, and the state's fiat system. Blake2B never ever has to sell into the fiat world. Inside the community, you trade labour for Blake2B. You only ever spend fiat at the door — and you spend it buying in. If the community needs to pay a fiat bill, it sells BTC, the most liquid asset on earth, and buys dollars or euros. Blake itself never crosses back.

That is the airlock the original BTC never had. Its only connection to the real world was a direct fiat trade — exposure was in its design, capture was its destiny. Blake2B's setup permits purity where the original only permitted contact.

It's that simple. Everyone who wants Bitcoin to win now has the tools to make it so. Exchanges can set up and offer huge amounts of dollars for Blake2B — the community need never trade there. That is the job of BTC, the asset you can sell 24/7 on the global market. You sell BTC to pay fiat bills; you use your Blake2B to build the parallel circular economy Satoshi envisioned. The BTC holders who sell their inherited Blake, thinking it worthless? They are the relay. Their exit is the entry for new blood to the Blake2B community.

And if somehow we get it wrong this time, we shut it down, curse the stupidity, and try again — the next hard fork will have BTC and Blake2B as a buffer against the fiat world, and the architecture, fine-tuned once more towards purer mining decentralisation.

Bitcoin is inevitable, but not in the way it has been portrayed by the influencers. It's time to change the BTC chip and pívot to the real bitcoin.

#bip110 #blake2b #btc Desert Dave (nprofile…s3r2) Luke Dashjr (nprofile…5suc) BitcoinUniversity (nprofile…c7dz)

Isn't capital supposed to flow to the strongest money? Since the hard fork, shouldn't BTC holders be selling their captured corn to buy more blake coins? If I ever need fiat I will be selling BTC, never the blake coin. The new hard fork coin is for the hard fork economy. It's not controversial to be prudent and play by the rules of hard money.
