Thank you for putting so much detail into this guide. It's been a long time since I have stepped away from Ubuntu and Mint, but I now have a KDE Neon Live USB to play with and see if it's stable enough with my laptop.😀 2026-05-25T10:49:08Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqs9v3e2hzzqfhrdwewqc7qwsj4juf2agtdvsdm4qhc7n7k0ts96hdqzyzqepwqwrmxttnv08wtl0mqdnm66758l7phr3220ex63e30v8y70q96gx3h I'm back to considering a graphics tablet again, part of my attempted alternative career plan. I am using Linux so will likely use Krita for software.

Wacom seems to be a main brand but have seen various articles about them tracking applications you are using? Is this a) still a thing and b) a thing when running under Linux? Is there a better brand? (I am based in the UK)

I have half considered renting or purchasing a small one second hand to see if I get on okay with it? Probably around 19 odd years since I last used one.

#MastoArt #WacomTablet #Linux 2026-05-16T16:14:37Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqsza5shkdeqwmvd7es6t2rhamz94guct0cdnag93gnej005ymvng4czyzqepwqwrmxttnv08wtl0mqdnm66758l7phr3220ex63e30v8y70qc2vr03 In reply to nevent1q…0nhc
_________________________

I think I may have found a WriteFreely instance, if the The Innkeeper (npub1nve…x6rd) will have me, it was actually an internal debate when I decided to leave Mastodon.Social, Cup of Tea Social (COTS) or the The Gamer's Tavern (TGT). COTS won, and I'm not going anywhere, but I think TGT will complement things here quite nicely 😍

#Blog #Writing 2025-08-24T11:44:05Z https://njump.me/nevent1qqsxcuk6w07a5d26lfskxg8drkyjnxe9ylps08dkjl56lj4uhupuvsqzyzqepwqwrmxttnv08wtl0mqdnm66758l7phr3220ex63e30v8y70qts4vj3 In reply to nevent1q…q7c6
_________________________

Currently looking at https://paper.wf/ as I don't need anything as comprehensive as available on the Write.as instance.
