Inside, one black rotary phone, no line connected, and a notebook. The phone will never ring, and people still walk up the path to talk into it.<br/><br/>Garden designer Itaru Sasaki built it in 2010, after his cousin died, because his thoughts couldn&#39;t travel over a normal line. A year later the tsunami took about 1,400 people from the town below, a tenth of it. He opened the garden to everyone. Over 30,000 visitors since.
