As a pigment ink it is indeed waterproof and permanent. There is no bleeding or feathering on 70gsm copy paper. There is some shading. I still have to ink a fountain pen with it, to determine the flow, but with a glass pen it writes just fine. It only started skipping when I was about to run out of ink. It cleaned easily with distilled water. It did not stain the converter, nib, feed or section.
