"SINCE THE MOVEMENT BEGAN: VICTIMS OF THE STATE

The facts:

Since Saturday, the media have counted every broken window, every burned city hall, every looted store. Property damage makes the headlines. Mutilated bodies end up at the bottom of the page.

So we will tell you what the French state has destroyed in human lives since the movement began: hands blown off, eyes lost, skulls split open, and at least one death.

Paris, October 17:

Videos show a street medic beaten by several police officers, then carried away. As we write, we do not know whether he is still alive. Many sources on social media say he died. No official information confirms it, but nothing rules it out.

The same day, on Boulevard Magenta, a protester died. The police prefecture cites cardiorespiratory arrest. No investigation has been announced.

Evan, 15, Lens:

In early October, near the Auguste-Behal high school, Evan had his left hand blown off by a stun grenade thrown by the police during a student protest.

The Béthune prosecutor confirmed the amputation. The police oversight body (IGPN) has opened an investigation. Evan is 15 years old.

Saint-Étienne, October 17:

A young protester had his hand blown off by a police grenade. He was rushed to the university hospital.

Every account puts his age at 16 or 17. The authorities call him a "young adult." The police are trying to impose their narrative before any investigation. The only question that matters: why are explosive grenades still used against civilians? France is one of the few countries in Europe that still uses them.

Maël, 16, Tours:

In late September, during the blockade of Balzac high school, Maël was hit by a rubber-bullet launcher (LBD). He lost the use of his right eye.

A police officer has been formally charged with aggravated assault, placed under judicial supervision and barred from using the LBD. A second officer involved has the status of assisted witness.

Maïssa, 17, Mulhouse:

On Saturday, October 17, Maïssa was leaving a kebab shop with friends. She was not protesting. She ran into the march and was hit in the face by a projectile, a tear gas grenade according to witnesses.

Brow bone hit, cornea split: she will never see again with her left eye. The IGN has been called in, and her family is filing a complaint.

Eden, 14, Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône:

On September 28, Eden was hit in the face by a tear gas grenade fired from a launcher. Fractured jaw, broken teeth. The scene was filmed, and Le Monde authenticated the video. A police officer has been formally charged with violence causing mutilation or permanent disability. Eden is 14 years old.

Emmanuel, 16, Meudon:

On September 30, during a school blockade, Emmanuel was surrounded by riot police, beaten, then dragged face down along a road covered in broken glass. He says an officer called him a racist slur.

The result: a head injury and glass fragments in his forehead. He was then held in custody for 24 hours and faces trial on December 9. His family is filing a complaint.

Aiming for the eyes:

On October 17 in Strasbourg, a man was seriously injured by an LBD shot, in the eye according to France 3. In Clermont-Ferrand, a protester collapsed after being hit full in the face by an LBD. In Paris, a protester with a head injury filed a complaint.

On October 1 in Argenteuil, a 16-year-old student was shot in the face with an LBD. He may lose the use of his left eye.

Skulls split open:

On October 8, at Place de la Bastille in Paris, three people had their skulls split open by police batons, including an 18-year-old and Marine, 26, who needed six staples.

On October 7 in Marseille, outside Marie-Curie high school, a 17-year-ola student was struck on the head by a riot officer's baton. Six stitches.

What they don't count:

According to StreetPress, more than 210 high school students have been injured since the movement began. The state publishes no figures at all on injured protesters. It counts its police officers, it counts the windows.

These weapons are used under the authority of Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez. He is responsible. Behind every first name, a life damaged by the state.

"WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH FRONTEX?

Frontex Is the European Border and Coast Guard, an armed paramilitary that controls the borders of the European Union, executes deportations and supports external actors such as the Tunisian and Libyan Coast Guard in their efforts to prevent migrants from reaching the EU's borders.

On 6th October in 2016, Frontex was born in its current form as a response to the so-called refugee crisis, and ever since it has only grown in budget, workforce and power.

Because they try hard to cover up the many controversies they are involved in, it is important to shine a light on what Frontex is doing now and what is coming up in their near future.

The growth of Frontex has been pushed by various politicians, most prominently Ursula von der Leyen, to show the EU's commitment to harsher and more secure borders.

For her last re-election, she promised to upscale the number of Frontex agents to 30,000 by 2027 - instead of the 10,000 that were promised before.

So much money has been pumped into Frontex that it has become by far the largest EU agency, having a budget of 1.1 billion euros for 2025 alone. Only 0.23% of this budget went to "human rights"-activities, while 12.1% went directly into deportations.

Frontex has had a role in supporting and coordinating deportations from its inception, but in recent years deportation and so-called "voluntary" return have become one of the core tasks of the agency. In 2024, Frontex collaborated on the "voluntary" returns of 35,637 people, an increase of 22,900% in just 5 years.

The term "voluntary return" hides an institutional form of blackmail there is nothing voluntary about a person's live being made so miserable that they see no other option than to leave.

It is enforced through hostile migration and asylum policies as well as coercion and intimidation. "Voluntary return" serves only the deportatlon regime of the EU: It means less legal hurdles, It Is much cheaper and it can be sold as something positive.

This October, the EU Commission plans to expand Frontex's mandate. It would become the main coordinator of detention centers and deportations outside of the EU, where agreements with those countries have been made. The collaboration between Frontex and Europol could also be tightened, criminalising migrants and people working in solidarity with them. Lastly, Frontex will have a central role in the new databases proposed by the EU to gather and store information on all people crossing any border in the EU, often with the help of Al.

To house all of these missions, a new headquarter and training center is being built in the middle of Warsaw. This 70,000 m² complex will host over 2000 employees, a 24/7 surveillance center observing all of the EU's borders and a space to develop new border control technology. The EU parliament gave Frontex €250 million euros in order to complete the project by 2028."

Depending on the system for justice is exactly what keeps us in this sick cycle.

Our collective safety, healing, & our liberation, will NOT come from the existing system, it will come from us.

FASCISM THRIVES ON FEAR & DISCONNECTION.

We resist it by staying human, connected, creative, & compassionate, to ourselves & to each other.

We are our own safety net.

The antifascist is accused of participating in attacks on neo-Nazis in Budapest in February 2023. France refused to extradite him to Hungary in 2025, citing the risk of torture and concerns over the rule of law. Germany subsequently issued its own European arrest warrant.

After France’s highest court rejected his appeal against extradition to Germany, Gino travelled to Hanover to surrender. His supporters warn that he could now face onward extradition to Hungary."

In the United States, migrant children as young as 2 are being brought before immigration courts that can determine whether they are deported. Many have no attorney.

A normal day in a Texas courtroom: 25 migrant children wait for a judge — a б-year-old plays airplane, a 3- year-old plays with the mic.

Among the first to appear before the judge was a 13-year-old Honduran boy named Angel. He didn't have an attorney.

JUDGE: "Is there a reason you can't return to Honduras?"

ANGEL, 13: "My mom and almost my entire family are here. It's too dangerous to go back."

JUDGE: "Would you like to request voluntary departure, or should lissue a removal order?"

ANGEL: "I don't know."
Angel bursts into tears.

The 13-year-old was ordered removed from the United States and given until the end of the month to appeal.

That same day, 15 other children without attorneys were asked whether they wanted voluntary departure.

Some were so young they were playing with the courtroom microphone and stretching their hands into the air.

A 3 year old: stays silent

"STATEMENT IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE CZECH ELBIT 11

On 20th March 2026, a fire destroyed a warehouse facility in Pardubice, Czechia. This facility was owned by Czech arms manufacturer LPP Holding. According to their own words, LPP Holding had planned to use this site for a project with Elbit Systems, Israel's largest arms manufacturer. The police have since arrested eleven people for their alleged connection with this fire; six of them were arrested in Czechia, three in Poland, one in Slovakia, and one in Bulgaria - The Czech Elbit 11.

Eight of them are currently held in pre-trial detention in Czechia, many of them under harsh conditions. They can be legally held for up to 4 years without any conviction. The remaining three activists arrested in Poland spent nearly three months in jail and are for'now being prosecuted at liberty.

The accused activists are being charged with two different crimes: taking part in a terrorist attack and membership in a terrorist organization. These charges carry a sentence of 12- 20 years with the possibility of a life sentence.

The Czech Elbit 11's lawyers are being denied complete access to the evidence against their clients. This severely impacts their ability to prepare a strong legal defense.

Other local activists are continuing to face police intimidation and harassment, with their homes being raided and their devices confiscated indefinitely. Even those who are just witnesses are being taken off the streets and their devices are being confiscated without any indication as to when they might be returned.

LPP Holding is a prominent manufacturer of drones and other weapons technologies in Central Europe. In 2023, they announced plans for opening a production and training facility in collaboration with Elbit Systems. In subsequent interview, Amir Bettesh (VP of Marketing & Business - Elbit's Unmanned Systems Division) stated that "[Elbit] chose LPP because we cooperated for years." This is in stark contrast to their claims following the fire that the "cooperation with Elbit Systems has never materialized".

We, the undersigned individuals and organizations, pledge our unwavering solidarity with the Czech Elbit 11.

This moment demands swift international opposition and solidarity across borders. We join with the CzechElbit11 and our fellow people of conscience against the use of arbitrary and undemocratic accusations of "terrorism" to silence opposition to genocide and rising authoritarianism.

As part of our ongoing demand to stop the Czech government's participation in the genocide in Palestine, we demand:

• Immediate release on bail of all defendants of the Czech Elbit 11
• Reclassification of the fire in Pardubice from an act of terrorism to arson
• Access to all evidence and right to a fair trial - ensure the detainees' basic civil rights
• An end to the police harassment and intimidation - no more arrests, being taking off the streets, house raids, interrogations or device confiscations
• An independent investigation into LPP's participation in the war crimes committed by Elbit Systems, and immediate termination of their cooperation and divestment from Elbit Systems

Toen niet, nu niet, nooit meer fascisme!

Op 5 mei viert Nederland de vrijheid. Maar is er wel echte vrijheid? En wie mag aanspraak maken op die vrijheid? We zien zondebokpolitiek, een hang naar autoritaire leiders, media die machthebbers naar de mond praten, mensen die van hun menselijkheid worden beroofd, knokploegen die achter vluchtelingen aan gaan en meer geweld tegen de LHBTIQ+-gemeenschap.

Dit stopte allemaal niet met het einde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De dreiging van fascisme is na 1945 nog nooit zo groot geweest.

We hebben iedereen nodig in de strijd tegen fascisme. Jou ook! Vandaar de oproep:

Demonstratie tegen #PVV haat-tour.

Onze stad wordt het volgende toneel van #Wilders zijn verdorven "#AZC Tour". Wilders en de PVV komen hier enkel haat verspreiden aan onze inwoners! En dat alleen maar voor eigen politiek gewin en ego.

We willen dit niet ongehoord voorbij laten gaan en spreken alle inwoners van Delft en naburige gemeentes aan, zich te manifesteren in de Delftse binnenstad.

En Wilders samen weer uit te zwaaien!

We gaan de straat op! Niet tegen de inwoners die hem ontvangen en met hem op de foto willen!

We gaan de straat op zonder #haat! En we laten Wilders en de PVV zien dat hun leugens en haat niet welkom zijn in deze stad!

Delft is en blijft een een stad van en voor iedereen!

Wat als hij de energie die hij in #haatzaaien stopt, zou stoppen in het oplossen van daadwerkelijke problemen....

12 oktober Amsterdam: SAMEN TEGEN FASCISME!

De groepen achter het geweld in Den Haag op 20 september hebben een ‘anti-immigratie-protest’ aangekondigd voor 12 oktober om 13.00 op de Dam.

Wij zijn solidair met iedereen die het doelwit is van extreemrechts en fascistisch geweld. Deze mensen zijn welkom in Mokum — fascisten en extreemrechtse hooligans NIET!

Dus ook wij komen samen op 12 oktober in Amsterdam, om 12.30 op het Jonas Daniël Meijerplein, om met een brede coalitie van mensen en organisaties een oorverdovend weerwoord te geven aan de haat die op dat moment wordt uitgedragen op de Dam.

Samen staan we sterk, dus roep iedereen die je kent bij elkaar en doe mee! Het moment om je uit te spreken tegen extreemrechts en opkomend fascisme is NU.
