So it looks like some Scuttlebutt folks have made a new protocol called PZP (previously PPPPP, which was a better name) and they even have a section in their docs about Nostr: https://pzp.wiki/guide/intro/#how-pzp-is-different-from-nostr
But aside from that the protocol seems to be pretty much like SSB, but with per-device keys and no strict need for a key to follow a single chain of notes. I can only imagine this makes the implementation much harder.

There is too much written about zaps and Bitcoin and too little about these things.
No one has posted a MacOS benchmark here, but apparenly on arm64 it is truly much faster than the alternatives, I don't understand why but maybe the library is broken for amd64, or my code is broken, but then it would be weird.
I kinda hate the name "event" myself but I can't think of anything else anymore, I mostly use "notes" to talk about kind:1.

Minimum zap to receive an active notification in focused context, but still view all and filter somewhere? I assume that's what you mean anyway. And can zaps be optionally accompanied by an emoji anyway? Proof of work and proof of more specific intent, or for other purposes as may be determined by market.

By measuring only the correlation between the angle of attention between two isolated subjects housed adjacently, one could (?) either demonstrate reasonable grounds for further study or rule out wide swaths of paranormal conjecture. IOW record the slope on two dimensions of the angle eyes point from pupil to focal point. Do humans in proximity tend to look up simultaneously? At some star? At each other? Toward a shared concern? Identical twin test next, with or without growing up together.

I'm planning to launch V4V project as notedeck business product maxi if that's going to be possible, ramping up march 1. Tooearly? Will sustain notedeck's testing phases and any associate difficulty while we build here too, but would most need amber signin to avoid ever pasting the llc's nsec. (I would paste mine in damus without worry but trust model is more than me with this project) Then app integration... with those two features we can go all in knowing that switching tools later is possible with the removal and addition of a column, rather than something more walled gardeny.
