Also, not all relays are communities, as there is other stuff.
you forgot npub vs hex pubkey
They exist, but their numbers are pitiful when compared with far-left ethno-fascists
With NIP-66, yes. These expired certificates can be found in `30066` events right now. And yes, next nostr.watch would convey these details, and any other data present. But then again, any client could convey those conclusions at runtime with NIP-66
good call, those packs often have all kinds of fillers and preservatives.
the general vibe is salt, pepper, cumin, chili and/or paprika and fresh garlic. If you have access to Ancho or Guajillo peppers your burritos will thank you for swapping out the chili powder with them.
tell us about the new remote signing implementation, currently researching this subject
Context: There was an exploit on strfry, this resolves it.
Voron + Raging Rabbit or TapChanger/StealthChanger basically covers prusa's entire line anyways.
in PNW? You probably won't be getting any packets from my repeaters in Budapest or from my handheld in Belgrade

wasnt aware this 22 was merged. I have 3-4 NIP-22's in my head rn. Will sync with state. thx.
So many notes about bluesky, and many points missed.
- topical reasons: 99% of notes are about nostr or bitcoin, not only are these uninteresting to Normies many are repulsed by these topics.
- onboarding: bluesky protocol was designed to accomplish a specific goal, a goal that decentralization takes a back seat to. This means they can more quickly achieve UX that closely aligns with what people EXPECT.
- philosophy: the majority of people "fleeing" to blueksy are statists. That other 1% of content on nostr is overtly anti-statism. Not only would an influx of statists be catastrophic to our culture, you are batshit crazy if you think you can impose a dumptruck of philosophical pivots on tens of millions of people before they shift the direction of the protocol to one that resembles statism.
nostr's strength is not building another twitter. nostr's strength is that it is a protocol that enables possibilities that facilitate the invention of new experiences that nobody has yet conceived, possibilities that none of us EXPECT. These possibilities cannot be atomized and codified into a coherent roadmap created by any central committee. Nostr is a place of possibilities.
Being capable of facilitating what none of us expect is nostr's strength. It can't be forced. It can't rushed. The time will come. excercise patience and embrace the unknown.
that moment when you realize you've spent the last 16/20 hours in bundler hell and you can't remember what you were working on or why and that JavaScript is a blight forced upon humanity.
what a shit show 😂. ... there was a point a few months ago when I started refactoring for the tone generation to include a beat, texture and better chord progressions that had rythmkc elements, but man was it difficult. The story of the sounds that while testing the monitors in production I needed a way to quickly identify if everything was still working, so I added that. That GUI was one of my debugging tools at one point.

Did zap.stream have wallet functionality in May?
was in may, pretty sure the Primal wallet wasn't out yet.
this was in May, and he"s an American. WoS not an option, pretty sure Blink wasnt around.
I got a streamer with a dedicated audience to agree to try streaming on nostr via zap.stream, but he's primarily iOS and getting everything working so that he could recieve zaps was a nightmare, he gave up.
the good thing is that creating stream overlays would have been a walk in the park.
If this version of statism eliminates citizen-based tax then I won't complain about the state for a minimum of one month ... and that's a promise. If not I'm ramping it up to 11.

You're right. TIL: mSats accrue. Previously thought msats didn't accrue. Thanks for that.
Regardless base fees > 0 discourage this behavior. And it is not without irony. At the time that WoS channel had a large negative inbound fee and enough liquidity for their transactions, so they could have sent their ~500k sats in a single payment in seconds as opposed to hours and without consuming so much compute. They consumed almost 4 minutes (!) of compute over the span of ~12 hours, and this time period was accompanied with a forwarding fail rate that was almost +50% than the month's average.
I think what you're missing is that when the PPM value of the forward is below 1 sat, the sender effectively ducks the PPM. Zero base fees encourage spamming the network with 400+ small payments instead of sending a single payment for 600k. The sender only needs to have patience and the ability to write a 20 line bash script, where as compute time, unsettled HTLCs, worker exhaustion and high value liquidity are the cost to the operator.
Yes, that's quite right. However, you missed the point that this happens very frequently, and often to channels that have a high rebalancing cost. Also base_fee is in mSats.
Zero base fee is fine for many kinds of channels, but for sinks it's begging for pain.
Zero base fee advocates tend to advocate for zero base fees EVERYWHERE. It doesn't work.
For those of you that advocate for zero base fees: here is why you're wrong.

Also don't you need to encapsulate `50` with double quotes in nak? `"50"` :D

Already is. https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/230
Hmm, I just ran a test and more or less got what I expected. Here's the test result:

It is almost as if the moment the Queen died the UK became a totalitarian hellscape. The irony.
I have a few questions about the first scene.
