If you use the block feature it writes to your private mute list. If you use the report feature it writes to your public mute list and the app uses web of trust with those. If several of your friends have reported an npub as spam then you&#39;ll see it&#39;s comment covered, showing the avatars of the friends who have reported it, but there&#39;s a button to reveal the comment if you want to see it for yourself. If you report it as spam then your client mutes it and you don&#39;t see it at all anymore and it reports to your friends&#39; clients.
