Not binary.<br/><br/>I want to offer some Setups to improve Browser-Privacy and explain a bit what they actually are able to do.<br/><br/>1. Simply install #Brave on whatever device to brows the web<br/>Brave uses the #chromium base and cuts out the parts, which call back to google. So this already improves the Browsers privacy towards Google. But the biggest power lies within the Brave Shield. Brave Shield comes with a lot of filter capability built in the browser. Means that many sites, which have built in trackers, will be blocked. So your Brave browser will simply not connect to those tracking providers in the first place. So your exposure to third party trackers are lowered through this. And when the Brave Shields misses a tracker, Brave even invests a lot into trying to defect Browser Fingerprinting. Means that metrics, which identify your computer will be spoofed in a way, that it is harder to identify you among other Brave users.<br/><br/>2. More advanced Option:<br/> a) Install Firefox or Mullvad Browser(on Desktop): Firefox is a Browser that is developed user centric and fully opensource. And it is built on an independent Browser Engine (Gecko), which gives Firefox more freedom in future development than Browsers, which build on Googles chromium base.<br/>b) Add uBlock Origin: uBlock Origin offers almost the same protection as Brave Shields can offer. It blocks know advertisers and trackers. But uBlock Origin on Firefox is even more powerful, when one uses one of the dynamic blocking modes. With those uBlock gives the possibility to block all 3rd party scripts by default and poke wholes into the blocking, where they are needed to get a functional Website. This gives the opportunity to minimize the exposure even more. Like this I have the opportunity to only download and execut the parts from a website, which help to make it work.<br/>c) Arkenfox user script: Mullvad browser has already the strongest fingerprint defense, since it is the same as Tor Browser in the browser fingerprinting defense. But when one uses the Firefox browser (for example on mobile devices), Firefox still offers the option to modify inner workings to have more protection. When changing manually, one enters &#34;about:config&#34; into the url-bar, accepts the risk and searches for &#34;privacy.resistFingerprinting&#34; and set the following settings to true:<br/> - privacy.resistFingerprinting<br/> - privacy.resistFingerprinting.pbmode<br/>Use &#34;privacy.resistFingerprinting.exemptedDomains&#34; to exempt specific domains from the mechanism, when they fail due to the fingerprinting protections. In the arkenfox Github repo there is a lot of helpful content when it comes to tweaking Firefox.<br/><br/>I hope someone can profit from those tips. I know they are no complete protection. They make no one anonymous in the internet.
