What if we just call it “B”. Literally the sound /b/&#xA;&#xA;Square&#39;s marketing shows the ₿ symbol in their POS systems and it looks clean. But calling 25,000 sats “bitcoin” is confusing. Most people still hear “bitcoin” and think full coins. That disconnect creates friction. &#xA;&#xA;“Sats” doesn’t help either. It pulls away from the mainstream bitcoin brand makes it harder than it needs to for newcomers. &#xA;&#xA;So why not “25,000 B” when talking and when written ₿25,000? One syllable. Lines up with Bitcoin branding. Easy to say and easy to write. We just use the ₿ when written. I started intuitively doing this while writing about Lightning and started thinking in B. It makes sense. &#xA;&#xA;Still pretty new here, so tagging a few people so this gets seen. Curious what people think. Thanks!&#xA;&#xA;nostr:nprofile1qyv8wumn8ghj7urjv4kkjatd9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wsq3yamnwvaz7tmsw4e8qmr9wpskwtn9wvqzpcs03gur430p2dnpq8qkprhy7vl63vkhjfgvav444z465su55mnujc3akf nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvqyehwumn8ghj7mnhvvh8qunfd4skctnwv46z7ctewe4xcetfd3khsvrpdsmk5vnsw96rydr3v4jrz73hvyu8xqpqsg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q8dzj6n nostr:nprofile1qqsvrzpjh8khtfrg0gxdhf052kvsqj7p88sx8wr8u8622lsp82w96ns6s3skh</html></oembed>
