I randomly decided to check out how #firejail is doing and discovered something as mysteriously creepy as this:

This has nothing to do with programming language cults; it just becomes overwhelming for OCD'ed guys like me to involuntarily audit things written even with much more recent stacks than this.
I guess #hostapd will be one of the next ones. Wish there was at least A SINGLE alternative implementation in whatever better language. Not another coreutils, not an entire OS or something. Just the WiFi hotspot thing through which you're probably currently connected right now.
