Haven't touched the smart TVs yet, but I've been toying around with my Nvidia Shield Pro, which only has 3 GB of RAM.

Removed the bloatware and stopped a bunch of apps from running in the background.

It went from about 0.9 GB of free RAM to about 1.5 GB, and it runs way smoother.

Swapped to a simple apps‑only launcher and a much more basic screensaver.

Also had Claude install SmartTube a no ads tv youtube app, and I gave it my NewPipe subscription file. It imported everything and set it all up for me—no Google sign‑in needed.

Next will be the Samsung and LG tv. I am seeing posts that Claude shut down rea use so this might get harder we shall see.

I saw people on X pointing Claude at their smart TVs to debloat them—night‑and‑day performance improvements on some cheap TCL TVs. This is my next project.
