Running that 30 day test a few more times, NIP-77 relays seem to be able to return events 4x faster than other relays. obviously lots of variables here but I suspect this sync would be even faster if more relays supported NIP-77

24 hour, 7 day, and 30 day outbox sync run on Derek Ross (npub18am…p424) contacts using applesauce while the outbox model is recalculating relay selection live based on relay failure. the sync is considered complete when less than 2 events over 5 seconds are received.




If you cant tell NIP-77 really helps with this.
