Let me introduce TutorHub — a decentralized marketplace for tutoring services.

Students can find tutors who are nearby or simply a good fit for their learning style. Tutors can organize their work week by publishing available time slots, offering their services, and even complementing their profile with a small blog. Reputation systems, moderation, encrypted messaging, and note-sharing throughout a series of lessons can help make the learning process more organized and effective.

The choice of relay is yours.

Why am I building this? Partly as a form of escapism — the kind usually expressed through writing fiction, but now made more accessible through AI-assisted development. Partly for self-promotion, of course. And partly because I want to help colleagues, friends, and a small community around me.

I realize that mainstream users are not ready for all the underlying technical details yet, and a lot of protocol- and relay-related concepts will likely need to be hidden or simplified. A migration to a more traditional stack may even become necessary in the future. Fortunately, thanks to Clean Architecture (at least to the extent I managed to apply it), such a transition seems realistic without rewriting everything from scratch.

There is still a lot of work ahead, but there is little point in building in isolation forever. So I would appreciate it if you could take a look and, if possible, share some feedback.

Tech stack: nostr-tools, khatru (@fiatjaf), relay implementation currently used only for testing.

At the moment, the application works with the nos2x browser extension; other extensions have not been tested yet. Zaps and payment functionality have not been implemented so far.

More details are available in the repository.
