They kind of fucked up with Sheik in the remake, not gonna lie. She is very obviously a girl but people still refer to her as a guy. What guy has a braid down to his ass, eye makeup, and a feminine voice?! Why would you think "oh yeah that's a dude and definitely not zelda in disguise" for even a second?
They should have either made Sheik actually look more like a dude or not referred to her as a guy at all. I'm really puzzled as to what the goal was here.
