Over the past two years, Geyser has supported thousands of creators in bringing their ideas to life. One lesson has become clear: the way a project launches often determines whether it gains the momentum to thrive. A great idea alone isn’t enough — it needs visibility, support, and the right environment to take off.
Saying Goodbye to the Old Launchpad
Until now, Geyser’s Launchpad has been the entry point for new projects. It served its purpose, but it didn’t fully reflect what we’ve learned about successful launches. That’s why we are retiring the old Launchpad and introducing a new system of Launch Plans.
This change also means removing the option to launch for free. We believe that every project should signal real commitment from the start. By asking for this investment, we keep the signal high and ensure that every launch begins with focus, energy, and a higher baseline of quality.
Introducing Launch Plans
The new Launch Plans are designed to give creators different levels of support depending on their needs.
Some projects only need a straightforward start to get going. Others benefit from feedback and guidance from our team, as well as a boost that helps them reach a wider audience. And some require maximum visibility and strategic involvement to ensure that their launch has the best possible chance to succeed.
By offering these options, we’re creating a more intentional framework where every launch represents an investment in its own success - and creators have the options they need to launch into success.
Why This Change Benefits Everyone
For creators, these new plans provide clarity and (much needed!) support. Telling their story and getting seen is the single biggest challenge for creators, and now we're creating the space where we can solve these issues more directly.
For contributors, this change means much higher quality projects: they'll only see projects that are fully committed, carry real momentum and inspire confidence. Not only because they paid an upfront fee, but because they receive the necessary feedback, storytelling support and wider coverage from Geyser. Thus, it becomes easier for them to discover AND trust proejcts that are launching on Geyser.
For Geyser as a platform, this model ensures sustainability while allowing us to channel our know-how back into the projects we support. The more we learn, the more we can share — and these Launch Plans mark the beginning of a new chapter where we are more directly involved in helping projects succeed.
