I mean what I really think it is... is this:

The things we had to do to stay safe before there was a vaccine sucked and it was scary and people resent being told what to do and feeling scared.

And resent that to survive they are reminded that we need to help each other, listen to nerds some of the time. Sit with uncertainty.

I guess there are a lot of people who wish we could have just ignored it and let far far far more people die. We are ignoring it now ... but post vaccine.
