I agree. We teach our kids through examples, but they are human beings with their own independent nature's. And we cannot always be sure of our motives as we interact with them. There is no cure for the violence in the human soul, at least not one that resides within us. A person here or there may suppress it for a while, but as long as envy, greed, jealousy, etc exist, we will struggle with our children and how they relate to others. No matter how "reasonable" we think we're being.
