I remember when Windows 3.1 came out and it was a dog. It's still a dog. No memory protection, crashed like a very crashy thing indeed … but it doesn't run on 64-bit processors and doesn't provide an environment modern viruses and malware can infect. Invulnerable to bitlocker malware because its filesystem is 30 years obsolete.
Southwest survived because while everyone else was running electric high speed rail, their clapped-out steam locomotive survived the power cut.
