Our children are surprisingly affordable and fun. There are tons of articles online saying kids cost $100k+ per year but when you homebirth, homeschool, ride out sicknesses to build immunity and cook your own meals, the wallet hardly notices. They also help me spend my time more wisely and there are hardly any events I want to experience in which we cannot bring them...but we are blessed to have several GREAT sitters for those special occasions!
