Wikipedia is an amazing resource but I just find the culture of the editors intolerable. I noped out on trying to contribute years ago because of it, and I'm someone with a higher than average level of stubbornness and tolerance for pedantry.

When I see people trying to recruit with advice like "just add a page stub! Add a couple citations!" I'm like... do you not realize the toxic cesspool of dismissiveness and disdain those noobs are gonna encounter? I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
