- I'd compare to email and not XMPP: Threads is already is a gigantic player, with 7 million+ trying it out the first day. All they have to do is to wait for a while, until fediverse users are well integrated in communicating with threaders, and then declare there's "trust issues" and create a whitelist for non-Threads instances.
