When Europa Clipper mission launches in October, it will carry a special commemorative plate with several images, illustrations, messages, and more than 2.6 million names. The plate is about 18x28 cm across and has illustrated features on both sides. On one side is artwork highlighting Europa, such as the word "water," spoken in 103 languages and converted into waveforms. It also has various equations and an illustration of Ron Greely, who pushed for a Europa mission.
