I don’t think Jerome Powell is going to lower rates or buy Treasuries.
I think Treasury & the Fed are opposed.
I’m in the Tom Luongo camp that he & Wall Street (JP Morgan) are at war with Europe, and opposed on some issues to Europe’s allies, the current Executive Branch.
I don’t buy “QE forever just wait 2 more weeks”, or the Fed’s bad so everything they do is bad. I think its more complex than that.
They are players with different motivations and incentives.
