"content": "Sometimes a person just has to do things themselves. Getting bees this year ment a lot of new equipment and using a horizontal hive design ment that most equipment in the market place just didn't fit why non standard frame design. An extractor being one of the biggest investments a beekeeper can make, it just didn't make sense to drop a grand on a special extractor my frame size. So I designed and built one myself. I used fusion360 to create the design, my cnc router to machine out some parts. A little cutting, grinding and welding along with a few parts from Amazon got me an extractor that should fit my small apiary needs for under $200.\n\n#grownostr #beekeeping #homesteading #DIY\n\n\n\nhttps://image.nostr.build/9f796fcc445496950c177dacd54fdf0fc18cb807492b011ad95e3fafe2ade32f.jpg",
