@[email protected] I think people going to bluesky because "it's easier" is a bigger danger than the mastodon.social growing a little bit more.




Not everyone cares about what we care, and every time I told someone "join mastodon just choose a server and..." well, at this point they have stoped listening.




vs: "hey join mastodon, just go here".




"servers? yeah you can change later, dont worry about it now"




A lot o people dont want to think at all about this. If we do not give a little bit for the ease of use, people will go to other places that will be worse for everyone.
