When you install zap.store (npub10r8…t2p8), you have to enter your npub and that will be used to show who you follow that follows the signer of an app.
But you don't have to enter your own npub, there is no verification and there shouldn't be.
You can also enter someone else's npub, which let's say it's managed by a developer who only follows the apps he has manually verified.
This lacks the profit motive, but shows that private, custom topic-related endorsement lists don't need a custom list-type.
