I have this suspicion about 90% of "highly-online" digital citizens, "netizens" as Wired called them in the 90s, people who are "aware of all internet traditons" and recognize that phrase as an old meme. These are people who know when not to click the rickroll or the goatse link or 2girls1cup, and tough enough not to care if they do.
My suspicion: they all, long ago, clicked preferences:appearance "Always expand posts marked with content warnings" in their Mastodon web client.
