I'm just thinking out loud here... daylightco (npub1a00…9q3h) seems very cool. They seem to have their hearts and minds in the correct place. I am 100% behind their mission.
I was very interested...
However, from my nearly a decade of being in the Android industry, I know that I have never used a good MediaTek device and I rarely have seen a device that launched with a two year old version of Android be updated to newer versions, patching security vulnerabilities.
I hope Daylight is different, but my past experience has left me feeling less enthusiastic about their launch. Maybe this time will be different?
