Social Security was instituted to destroy the multi-generational household and profit the real-estate industry and create the retirement home industry by taking Grandpa and Grandma out of the family house for them to live by themselves and depend upon outside resources (and pay a bunch) to take care of their declining health instead of living with children and grandchildren.
